Alright, so many of you have been asking for a post on Irene aka pinkiecharm. Certainly an interesting topic. So basically, all that Irene does is review shit online. A LOT of shit. What makes her qualified to review makeup? I'll never know, seeing as as far as I can tell, she doesn't wear enough. HOWEVER, *apparently* MAC and Stila send her free products to review. Whaaattt the fuckkkkk, MAC?! Although people say its been confirmed and blah blah, I STILL refuse to believe that MAC would send free products to someone who doesn't even do tutorials and who barely has 30,000 subscribers. Besides the MAC and Stila, she definietly doesn't receive everything she reviews for free. I don't believe she works.. although I do believe she has sued/is in the process of suing Applebees for falling and hurting herself. HAH.
But lets pretend for a sick second that Irene does in fact receive free products from MAC. She is frequently on Makeup Alley swapping all of this makeup that she's supposedly gotten for free:

And besides all of this, shes just a bitch in general. "I'm not google, look it up yourself." She also decided to block EVERYONE that follows her and sticky on twitter (sticky has over 1000 followers) and when asked why, she sent out some BS letter about how she couldn't have people that followed sticky also following her. ooookay, irene.

i unsubbed to almost 30 gurus when the sigma craze was out during the summer.
Tyra, I fell for that Sigma scam and bought a set last spring. Maybe I got a bad batch but all my brushes shed and bleed and one of the brushes the SS224, the handle broke off. I emailed the company with pictures and they took three weeks to get back to me and then told me I had to ship the brushes back. They wanted me to PAY to send back the defective brushes. I decided to just drop it and I learned a valuable lesson not to trust fake ass gurus who pimp anything.

It's hilarious that TiffanyD in her new review of Sigma brushes is all about bashing MAC brushes. Sigma is so so great and MAC sucks according to TiffanyD. Meh, I think people get forehead wrinkles for different reasons- dry skin, aging, overly expressive eyebrows? Someone commented a while ago that Phan said it was due to sun-damaged skin. I doubt that's the only reason though.

One of my bff has dark skin and she'll probably never have wrinkles because she moisturizes like there's no tomorrow, lol!

12:49 @ Lea - No problem :D Apparently she still tweets (but under a private name). She also responds to comments on her YT syncreatic (sp?) account. Her parents took away her video recorder so she can't make YT videos anymore.
Also, she doesn't live with her parents; she has her own (very very small) apartment. Her (wealthy) grandmother bought her the computer/printer/webcam set-up and I think she might try to get her grandmother to buy her another camera.
michelle used to be my favorite last year, but not anymore. shes representing her community the wrong way.
@ 12:56 - You know how a lot of Caucasians tan instead of burn? It's the same idea with black people. They get darker, rather than "burn".
If they have some "Caucasian genes" (as most African-Americans do) they can also get freckles.
Skin cancer is also common because so many think that they aren't in danger.

@ 12:58 - I think Michelle had the potential to be the most well-liked guru (due to her professionalism and maturity) but her fake demeanor and some-what greedy actions ruined it.

I've really become irritated with how so many of the big gurus edit their videos. Its like every other second they cut it for no reason. Blair and Elle are good examples. does anyone know what I'm talking about? Its hard to explain I dont know the exact terminology but I feel like I have ADD when I watch the videos.
I actually like Michelle. Shes one of a few who replies to her fans and interacts. She may be "big headed", but she is a guru. She has to be confident in what she is doing. Michelle seems like the only guru who is really getting outside of Youtube. Blair's Mcphee gig was a joke, she made it sound so big and history making. But Michelle, she signed a deal with Lancome and is now on Vogue. You can't deny the fact that Michelle is hardworking and who are we to judge. She deserves her success.
i dont see the big deal with the lancome signing. it just means she is now going to push out advertisement videos. misschievouz is doing exactly the same thing as michelle but i didnt see her bragging about "making history" or other bullshit like that.

@1:35 PM Misscheevious's Lancome deal doesn't look official. I looked online. I just think they're giving her free products to make a video. However, Michelle looks more legit. She inked a contract and is a spokesperson for Lancome. She's all over the website, in magazines, news. The press are talking about her deal, but not Misscheevious. Seems a bit suspicious IMO
