Normally I agree with your opinions on gurus. But I think Lorraine is awesome and I'll tell you why. 1. She's pretty honest and upfront. She's shallow and doesn't try to hide it. She knows it and she kind of uses it sarcastically. Listen to the way her mom said "expensive is always better". They're obviously not being serious. I think she's sort of a parody of consumerist American culture. And 2. she never sold out. If she had a boob job, she had it before she put her face on camera. It's hard to tell if she got a brow lift from those pictures because the angle of her face is different. She might have, but if you go back to her first vid, the brows looked the same. 3. She doesn't rip people off. I ordered a necklace from her. It arrived very quickly and with a hand-written thank you card. She has a LOT of givaways, especially around Christmas and she gives away Chanel and MAC. 4. She's consistent. She edits a video every day, tapes 10 mins of her life. It's something you can count on as a subbie...and that's all I really expect honesty. In all honesty, I think she's a great person. Now I dont think she's perfect, but I think she is REAL.
