"Why me?"
"Because you are a smart respectable and trustworthy student. It's just for the rest of the week. Please?" I bit my lip and side glanced at the girl. She rolled what looked like purple eyes.
"No need for schedule change. She will be with you in all your classes because she doesn't seem to remember hers." Mrs Tattington said, glaring at the girl. The girl slid farther down in her seat.
"Fine." I said.
"No chains in school." Mrs Tattington said, holding out her hand. Instead of giving her her multiple chains the girl took out her gum and slapped it on Mrs Tattington's hand. Mrs Tattington shrieked and dashed to the bathroom. I smiled a little bit.
"Don't smile!" She said, she looked me over. "So you're my nerd. What's your name?" I didn't like that she called me a nerd.
"Danny. And yours?" I stared at her freckles. They were cute. She seemed to be the only girl in the school who didn't cover her freckles with makeup. In fact, the only makeup she was thick black eye shadow.
"September." she said.
