I hated the EOS lipbalm at first, because I didn't feel like it moisturized, but I just kept using it obsessively and it made my lips really soft. I remember the first day I had it, I put it on before I went to bed, and when I woke up my lips were disgusting feeling, like all the dead skin had gotten goopy or something...but I wiped that off and it left my lips really smooth.
I like them, and the packaging encourages me to constantly put on lip balm because it's cute and I like using it :)

I know I'm way late but someone mentioned EOS lip balm.
The thing is when you first get them they are really hard and aren't very moisturizing. If you just use them a lot everyday, in a couple of days they will be way softer and super moisturizing. I think that's why people get turned off by them because when you first use it, it's not very good. All you have to do is soften it up.
OH & btw, the pink one is the most moisturizing imo. The green one is pretty good too, smells like artificial honeydew though. The worst one, imo, is the yellow one. It's lemon flavored with SPF. I thought I'd love it because I love lemon scented/flavored things, but this one has the weirdest smell & texture. It might be because of the SPF. It left my lips feeling really waxy and weird. idk, that's what i got from it.
She could probably volunteer at a local thrift store. No experience or references to speak of at 20 is not going to help her, but she should still apply ffs. And while she's doing that, do volunteer work to gain new skills. At a thrift store, she'd be able to handle stock and put price tags on items, learn about the charity she's helping out, etc., and all the new experience would help her prepare for a retail job.
