I adopted a dog from the pound, on its papers it said it was a Collie - nothing else. The dog however was CLEARLY a mix. We take our mix dogs to the vet, and on file they have our puggle as a pug and our mixed mutt as a border collie.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, having a paper (even official ones) on a dog means nothing unless its REGISTEREDDDD.
