in all honesty kalels brief stint in LA was at least a small step forward from spending all day every day in her childhood bedroom in the country.
she's a perfect example of why, whilst its good to take risks and try new things, have an adventure... doing something as drastic as moving to a totally new place all alone without any sort of plan in mind often doesn't work out if you're not a naturally confident and adventurous person. i understand homesickness, i'm living alone in a different country right now for work and it's not easy at all. i hope she can put in the effort and gain something from her experience, otherwise she'll just embarrass herself and let herself down.

ikr. even elle and blair are busy and always working. kalel literally sits in her bedroom, turns on her camera, and talks about makeup for 5-10 minutes. she doesn't even edit her videos really. so all she has to do is click upload and leave the computer on while the file uploads to youtube.
i made this point a while ago but i'll make it again. it seems like the majority of the youtube migrants heading over to live in LA are under the impression everything will be awesome like the time they spent a weekend there in summer or something. living somewhere, no matter how beautiful or fun a city it is, is really quite different from being there on a touristy weekend break

i live in a european city quite popular with tourists and it goes without saying that everyday life is not going to match up to being there on holiday or something. especially for someone like call all who is living in squalor and trying to make it as an actress in LA, ANYONE could tell you thats not a glamorous life to lead

i live in a major city with popular attractions and never go to said attractions. people who visit always say how wonderful it must be to live near them, and how they'd be there all the time. when you live somewhere the last thing you want to do in your spare time is go to a tourist attraction that's 15 minutes away from you. it just blends into the background and you dont even pay it no mind.
plus when you're living everyday life it stops feeling like a fun adventure after the first 2 weeks. once you settle in nothing is fun or exciting anymore and you get used to everything. so moving to LA will be fun for maybe the first month, after that it's just home.

Oh I KNOW Andrea was probably annoyed with Kristin not long after she moved there. I don't remember which video it was, but she was talking and then was all "aaah! Don't look at my messy room!" or something like that. I know Kristin pretends to be all OCD, but as lazy as she is, I can see her totally having all her stuff everywhere in Andrea's room and just really pissing her off.
Also, Kalel referred to herself as "living" with Andrea, and made it seem like Andrea had invited her there to live, and be all buddy-buddy roomies, and I think that annoyed Andrea as well. I remember reading the comments in one of the videos Andrea posted right after Kalel got there and someone commented "How is it living with Kalel?" and she replied like "Oh she's not LIVING with me, she's just staying here until she gets set up in her own place" or something to that effect. I thought it was pretty funny because Kristin had TOTALLY skewed in in a different way!
