And it's exactly the reason why we're so adamant on taking them down (for lying the entire time), and why they still have minions (who haven't yet discovered their true nature and intent). Someone could write such an interesting article about these Youtube "Personalities", and not just about how they make stupid little haul videos, but what's *truly* behind it all.

one of elle's first videos was "my 5 year old sister's makeup look". why didnt blair do a cameo? it does seem weird. like blair lived with her real mother then moved in with her dad and his family that summer, and elle got her into doing videos so they could bond and whatnot. that would explain the constant rivalry between them and elle's jealousy.

Reality shows are as fake as they come- a perfect place for the QVC Sisters... well that is IF a show about, um WUT exactly, gets picked up. More and more people are wising up to them (about fucking time) and once they're done shopping their show around, they'll come back to Youtube and realize they're not welcome even there. Too bad cunts- shouldn't have bit the hand that fed you ;)

I'm so over being subtle and tasteful about it, the whole situation disgusts me especially since it has gotten to the point that MY friends (Leesha) who are actual makeup artists and reviewers, are being viewed in a negative light because of things these girls have done. I have SEEN emails that their representatives have sent to companies that inquired about reviews. Saying things like 'they DON'T offer free reviews' and charge rates 'starting at $500 and discuss additional fees from there for product placement' etc etc. This is NOT reviewing, this is ADVERTISEMENT. This is SO different from what Leesha or really ANY other beauty guru does with products. There was a freaking video of the older one READING OFF A SCRIPT for one of her videos. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they get scripts from companies regarding exactly what to say about the product.
Anyways, I'm 90% sure they were a pre-planned marketing scheme. My conspiracy theory is that they were girls with money that could afford representation. I believe that they had some sort of agent or planner from the beginning. SOMEONE told them to get into Youtube, and randomly picked the 'beauty guru' segment because it was the up and coming thing that young girls were watching on Youtube at that point. Someone gave them 'cool' stage names. They then built up their following with endless 'reviews' of random products, with the occasional makeup tutorial thrown in to make the channels still seem relevant and 'true to their roots'. These girls were BOUGHT to serve as marketing mediums for interested companies. This was probably the plan from the beginning, and once they built up a following in a popular segment of Youtube, it could be carried out effectively with bigger and bigger companies. LOOK at their 2 Youtube accounts...they were CREATED the same exact DAY. Which was quite awhile before EITHER one of them started making videos. "Elle" was the test, she started videos first. When it worked with her, they gave the go ahead for little sister "Blair" to suddenly make videos too, and she'd gain an insta-following because of Elle.
I don't know them personally, so I can't really speak poorly about them in that regard, but I just wish their marketing scheme had invaded some other realm of youtube other than one that my
friends and myself are involved in. They're marketers, PR people, FINE. Clearly they're good at what they do in that regard, bright smiley appealing to kids etc. PUT THEM IN A LATE NIGHT INFOMERCIAL THEN, not in the 'makeup artist' category. It's laughable.

i agree with brooke and maybe if the fraudulent sisters saw it they might realize its time to stop humuiliating themselves and gtfo youtube,. they know people hate them but they rub ai off saying its haters hiding behind a screen. now that actual fellow gurus have been calling them out what are they gonna say to that? they need to gtfo and do that reality show and let the public watch them and laugh. but just leave youtube.

I think the point of tweeting it to them is so they see that another actual guru is calling them out. Im pretty sure they at least no who brooke is because her and blair have met before
